The AWANA

Club at Crane Chapel A
club that has a great time learning the Bible, playing games, singing, and hearing stories. You can win prizes, earn
awards, and be part of a team. The goal of AWANA is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and to train them
to serve Him! Cubbies (3&4
years) Sparks (Kindergarten - Grade 2),TnT - Truth & Training (Grades 3-6) and Junior High Trek Club for 6th and 7th grades.
Meeting every Wednesday night at 6:30 - 8:00 pm during the school year. Awana
News V Clubber of the Month of January Sparks club was Trey Martinson, Sparkling Sparkie
was Mikayla Berg and T&T clubbers were Myles Johnson and Caleb Vanderweerd, who tied in points! V
Thank you to our church
people for your support of the AWANA Missionaries Dale and Jean Gerards’ postage stamp project. We
have collected 18 books of Forever Stamps! We even received one in the mail from a sweet little lady at
Comfort Care (you know who you are) Thank you! V Praise the Lord, we had one more salvation in the Trek
Club! Pray for his spiritual growth and for still more clubbers to come to Jesus’ saving grace before
the end of April! V In February we set goals for the clubbers to reach for their final Awards.
I also was in contact with the other AWANA Commanders in Austin to learn about Float-a-Boat for the Sparks club and
the Grand Prix for the T&T club. It is something to think about for competition between the churches
for next year. V March 14th is AWANA Sunday. The kids will
wear their uniforms to school that week and tell others about AWANA and Jesus. Thank you for your prayers and support. God loves kids-and so do we! Paulette Lewis, Commander
