Pastor's Piece...
Following Him! Dear Church Family, It’s
hard to believe that the first day of Spring is just three weeks away. We’re still firmly in the
grip of winter with freezing temperatures and deep snow. But, the sun is climbing higher and staying around
longer, and it’s warmth will gradually prevail. We know this. We’ve experienced
it over and over. Yet it is a relief every year when it actually begins. And it soon
will. Just as God works His rhythmical plan in nature, he is also working his sovereign
plan in history. Isaiah 14:27 asks, “For the Lord Almighty has proposed, and who can thwart Him?
His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?” Let’s be alert and resolved,
as God’s people, to fully follow His plan for us. Every day counts, and every decision matters.
So, let’s keep our eyes on Jesus and our hearts yielded to His will. Let’s ask the Lord
to make this 75th year at Crane Chapel a time of renewal for our personal walk with God and for our mission of
drawing others to Him. Join me in praying for 75 people to be saved this year. We may
not know how God will do it, but we can ask Him to show us. Thank you for following Jesus with
all your heart!
