Good Day Everyone! Where has the month gone? It seems like I just got done doing the monthly newsletter and here we are again. This was another interesting month, not a whole lot to do but the weather was certainly interesting. We had some really nice days and some really not so nice days. I think God is slowly preparing us for an unusually kind winter! One with many more warm days than cold ones. Or perhaps that’s my own wishful thinking! So what is Refuge up to this month? Well, we started out the month with packing boxes for Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse. We packed 158 boxes in about ½ an hour. That has got to be some kind of world record! The kids really enjoy being a part of this and look forward to it every year. The other big thing we were able to be a part of this month was helping out the Salvation Army with handing out their Thanksgiving Supplemental Bags on the 23rd, 24th, and 25th. We covered two, 2 ½ hour shifts each day. It was a lot of work but it was fun. It’s so good to know that we can help the Salvation Army be a blessing to those in need. Refuge has gone back to meeting online via “ZOOM.” I’m not a fan but for now it appears to be the safest option we have. It’s definitely not the same as meeting in person and it is quite hard to get the kids excited about this. And as for me, I’m still doing my online classes. Lots of reading and writing. I just wish I could remember all the stuff I’ve been reading. It would make the writing part so much easier. Well, that is all I got for now. I would like to thank you all for your continuous love and support of me and our Youth Group. We are praying God’s blessings of protection, peace, and provision over each and every one of you. Thank you and God Bless!
Love and Peace
