September is small toys month for the shoeboxes! While you're out shopping, look for those fun small toys that will fit in a shoebox.  Some ideas include jump ropes, matchbox cars, Play-Doh, balls, stuffed animals, marbles, puzzles, and card games. The collection bin is in the foyer.  Let's see if we can fill it up every week until November!

Two Bible studies are available during the week.

Men's Bible study:  Wednesday mornings at 8:00  Led by Mark Aase

Women's Bible study:  Beginning Thursday, Oct. 1st, at 1:00 PM Led by Karen Helmbrecht studying the book of Ephesians.

Crane Chapel will be having our annual food drive for the Salvation Army this fall.  We will begin collecting on Sunday, Oct. 11th and continue through Sunday, Nov. 8th.  Below is a list of food items that work well for their food shelves.

White rice:  1 lb. Bags

Canned corn and canned mixed vegetables

Pork & beans and kidney beans

Canned tuna, chicken, spam, and sardines

Noodle packets and boxed potatoes

Canned soups

Spaghetti and macaroni
