Pastor’s Piece for October 2026

The Apostle Paul was once the # 1 enemy of Christians. But an encounter with Jesus changed him forever. He said:

“We have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view.

At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view.

How differently we know Him now!" 2 Corinthians 5:16

In one day Paul went from considering Jesus a fraud to calling Him Lord. He went from making murderous threats against believers to becoming one himself. Paul came to see Jesus for who He really is and gained a new perspective on both the followers of Christ and the people who rejected Him. When Paul stopped hating one side, he didn't begin hating the other side. He prayed for them, worked hard to teach them the truth, and endured much suffering to reach them. As we live in a time of much hatred and rancor, let's ask God to give us His perspective and help us to show love to all.

This fall we'll focus on the Book of Ephesians during Sunday worship and see what it means to be Christian in our beliefs and in our behavior. I hope to see you at 8:30 or 10:00 AM.

We just renewed our membership with RightNow Media, giving us access to a library of 25,000 videos for Bible study and teaching on finances, marriage, raising children, and other important subjects. The 2,000 videos for kids will capture their attention and shape their character. Anyone can use it by sending a text: CRANECC to 49775, or going to the website at https://app.rightnowmedia.org/join/cranecc.

There's no cost but many rewards for individuals, couples, families, or groups of friends to use these, Check it out! Feel free to share access with others. All are welcome!

Let's keep following Jesus together!

Love, Dale
